Because of their speed horses enabled people to cross long distances. Later, Chariot a two wheel horse drawn vehicle was invented in Indo-Iranian culture along the brooders of Russia and Kazakhstan. It became the battle tank of its time. Chariot armies reached out to old civilizations in India, Iran, and China and eventually to Egypt and brought an end to Pharaoh. World's significant empires in China, Rome, Assyria, Egypt, and Persia came into existence because of the horses and also came to an end because of the horsepower; horses' speed enabled enemies to cross long distances and destroy them.

With horse riding it became a lot more easier to manage stock. Horse riding allowed humans to break from their larger clan and move further in the plain on their own. Mongol Genghis Khan created world's largest empire as well as world’s first passport and postal system. Mongols brought East and West together like no one has ever done before. During the industrial revolution with the invention of machines many consumer's goods were introduced into the market. After the railways were built, cities were connected in much more faster way. But horses still remained in demand. Horses were used to transfer industrial goods to the consumers. While railways connected cities, horses were still used for rides and transportation within the cities. It was only until 1959, after the end of WW2, the mass car production started to rise and usage of the horses started to decline.
